Welcome to the Connected Space guided meditations
The common aim of these guided meditations is to support you in coming into deeper awareness and connection with yourself and the shared space. In other words, its purpose is to invite you to let go of thoughts and tensions, come into your body, witness how you feel, acknowledge what’s alive within you, etc.
For some of us, the current Corona situation can be very difficult to process, making it hard to acknowledge or communicate our true feelings to other people.
As a way of starting to integrate this new reality into our lives, or an attempt to make sense of what we’re collectively and individually going through, we prepared these reflective questions along with the guided meditation to help you go through a process of listening more carefully to what’s in your heart at the moment.
Listening recommendations (Creating the right setting)
Eliminate Distractions: Find a comfortable place free of distractions. Turn off the phone and consider using a blindfold when listening.
Use headphones: Over-the-ear headphones, those that completely cover the ear, help to eliminate ambient sound and are most comfortable.
Volume: Find what works for you. The idea is that you feel immersed in the sound experience.
Body Position: Lying down, or a reclined position, allows for greatest body relaxation.
